FLIP High School Group is all about building community, empowering youth, and expecting great things to happen.

Whether you are a parent or high schooler, we want you to know about the extravagant welcome extended to all area high school students at FLIP High School Group. Our positive, progressive, affirming, encouraging youth ministry invites teenagers into connection with each other — and, we hope, establishes a foundation of transforming discipleship with Jesus Christ.

Most months during the school year we meet on the Second Sunday for brunch after the morning worship service, catered to the Youth Room by Hobee’s. (Parents: free will donation appreciated, but not required. No one is ever turned away!) We wrap up by 1pm so that busy teens can be on their way to the next great thing — even if it is homework, boo!

Then, on the Fourth Sunday in the evening, we get together for Game Night. We take over the entire church campus for obnoxious games, sometimes we break out the inflateables, or we just hang out on the couches in the Youth Room. (Sometimes Pastor Daniel even opens up Sacred Grounds for some tasty treats.)

Of course, we’re about more than food and play here. Our one-of-a-kind ENGAGE Service Initiative invites us to change the world, and we have quarterly Spark Weekends and most months have Big Days of Service to bring is into connection with God’s center along society’s margins.
